Student Success Statement;- Pathros

"True wealth is of the heart, not of the purse" - Pathros

What I think the significance of this quote is that true wealth or enjoyment comes from the amount of love in your heart not of the amount of money in your purse or wallet. True wealth is your enjoyment of life so if you put more positive things into your life, your heart or your wallet will feel more full. Such as if you CTR everyday and you do nice things in general such as say good morning to everyone you see, you start to put things into your heart. Positive things. But if you start CTW and being rude such as shoving people in your way, you still put things in your heart but they are bad things. Which takes away your wealth. An example of this is 3 people, one person does good things all day, one does nothing all day, and one does bad things all day. The good person, at the end of the day will feel good about his day and his self after his day is over. The regular person will look back on his day and see it as wasted and that he should've done more. The bad person will look back onto his day as abysmal and think how everyday is the same but doesn't think to realize it is because of him. This relates to Pathros' quote because he says real happiness or wealth comes from your heart or actions.
